In week 5 all of the year 7 and 8 in syndicate 4 set off for camp to curios cove we left at 7:40 on the buses and the school van but we had to make a stop in reefton because Kyle puked so we had to make an unsuspected stop in reefton and we had to find all of Kyle's clothes and it was in the other bus but at least he did not do it in my bus.On the boat it was very cold on the boat and the other boat was much faster than us and they were at camp before us.
The first day activities we did camp activities which meant we went on the flying fox and the confidence course the flying fox went up to 38 km per hour and it was really fun and we got to go on it 2 times and it was really fun and when we finished on the flying fox we went on the confidence course and it was really hard but after lunch we got to go swimming and on the kayaks and the paddle board and I went on both.After tea and dessert we played hogans heroes and that was really fun but also dangerous and some people fell over and hurt them self and after hogans heroes we had supper then we went to bed.
The second day of activities we had breakfast and the we set of to climb Mt Kahiketea and it was so hard it took us about 3 hours to get up.When we got up to the top it was lunchtime so we had our lunch and then we went to have a look at the lookout and it was such a good view.going down was much dangerous than going up and on the way down Lakin dislocated his pinkie on his right hand and miss Hines rolled her ankle and so did me and Caitlin.When we got back down we just sat down for a bit then we had our dinner and Lakin went to the hospital.Later that night we played virus which was very hard and after 3 rounds we had our supper then we went to bed.
On day 3 of activities we went to ships cove it was a 2 hour boat ride and on the top deck it was really warm so we sun bathed and went to sleep when we got to ships cove we had our lunch and we got to have american hot dogs and they were really good.When we were finished at ships cove we went back on the boat and we went to start our fishing trip off the boat we stopped at one place for a little fish and to learn when to put our lines out and that was really fun.Then we went back to camp it was just about time for tea so we had tea and when we finished we had pudding and it was really yummy.When we finished our pudding we went back to our cabins and had a little rest and then we had to tidy up the camp till it was spotless and then when we finished tidying up the camp it was time for bed because the next day we were going home on the bus.
