What I have learnt about  matariki 

For matariki I have learnt some other names for it like the eyes of god and little eye.In Japan it also means subaru because the subaru is a well known Japanese company and seem it has the seven stars as its logo is made up of seven stars.In Greece peladies means doves.In the seven sisters there are twins and there names were waita and waiti.
