Reflection wk2 Term 4

For our novel we are reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas and when we finish the book we are going to watch the movie. Here is my Chapter 6 questions and answers.

For our calendar art we got to chose what we did. Our choices were Day of the Dead Mexican Folk Art or Aboriginal  art. I chose to do Aboriginal art here is what mine is meant to look like.

We have also been writing about sleep. I have only done my introduction and my first paragraph. Here is what I have done so far.
Sleeping is a condition of body and mind which typically recurs for several hours every night in which the nervous system is inactive the eyes closed the postural muscles relaxed and consciousness practically suspended. We all need sleep because if we don’t it could result in hallucination and eventually it will not be good for the brain and it will be impossible for the brain to give directions. No matter where we are we still need the same amount of sleep as the same age child in London.

We sleep because if we don’t get the right amount of sleep we won’t be able to grow because most of our growing will happen in our sleep. If you don’t get enough sleep we might feel hungry and you will just want more food. A newborn baby needs between 14-17 hours of sleep but an adult at the age of 65 years old only needs 7-8 hours what is the reason for this well it is because we need time to grow so a newborn baby needs to grow but with the adult at 65 years they don’t need to grow as they have already done their growing as they were younger.
