This book was about a boy called Greg Heffley and his family and his mum side was coming to stay for Easter and he did not really like his family because last time his family came to satay it did not go very well because the police came to there house and they just about got taken to the police station and then they do not like family gatherings that much any more and Greg's friend Rowley has a girlfriend but he dose't and he was really jealous and they even got voted for best couple in the year book and Greg was not very happy
I know that this book is humor because it was a really funny book and that on the side of the book it had a smiley face and I know that means it is humor and it was a really funny book.
Recommendation I recommend this book for boys but I also recommend this book for girls to because its not just a boys book and no books are boys or girls books and the ages I recommend this book for ages 8-12 years old.
